Prevention Education & Adolescent Counseling
Return to About Freedom Institute main page.
Freedom Institute has an Independent School Program which offers Prevention Education for grades K-12 and school-based clinical services for students and families.
Understanding the disease of chemical dependence is essential in order to help those who are affected and to prevent others from becoming dependent. The Institute’s adolescent counseling staff, trained specifically in adolescent issues and Prevention Education, works with faculty and parents to create a school environment that encourages faculty development, parent involvement, student instruction and open communication.
Our Student Assistance Program provides on-site counseling in schools, merging educational and clinical services.
More intensive clinical services, including individual, family and group counseling are provided at the Institute for both students and their families.
