FI’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training for Families

Family members are invited to participate in a four-session group designed to introduce Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills.  These skills are to help family members cope with the addiction and/or recovery of a loved one, whether or not she or he is in treatment. DBT Skills have been known to improve relationships. This educational group also offers the opportunity to understand the skills loved ones who are in recovery are learning as part of their treatment in a DBT program.  The group has rolling admissions and is held on Mondays from 6:00-7:30 pm.  The next session starts Monday, January 7, 2019.

If you would like to sign up or have inquiries about the group, please email Tessa Kleeman, LMHC, [email protected] or Genoveva Garcia, LCSW [email protected] or call Freedom Institute at (212) 838-0044.
